Your customizable CauseVox registration form can easily be embedded right on your organization's website, making registering for your event easily accessible and seamless for every supporter.

Types Of Registration Form Embeds

  1. Pop-up Registration Form Embed: When a registration button on your website is clicked, the registration form will be triggered to pop up on any page of your website.

  2. On-Page Registration Form Embed: You can embed the registration form on your website directly. This is usually done on a landing page.

To embed the registration form on your organization's website, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Under Campaigns select the Settings (gear icon) of the form you wish to embed.

Step 2: Under Registration Forms, select your registration form, or create a new form in the upper right.

Step 3: Select Embed Code from the left navigation. Under Global Javascript Code (Required) select Copy To Clipboard and paste the Javascript code into your website HTML right before the closing </head> tag.

Step 4: Choose one of the two embed code options below. For an on-page embed, under Embed a Registration Form, select Copy To Clipboard and paste the embed code into your website HTML where you'd like it to be displayed on the page.

If you'd like to embed a button to trigger the pop-up embed, under Embed a Registration Button, select Copy To Clipboard and paste the button code into your website HTML where you'd like it to be displayed on the page.

If you want your website donations to be counted towards the funding progress of a connected site, you'll need to add the site's id to the optional embed code under the form_id line.

You can find the site_id in the site settings web browser:

Copy that code and paste the line of code for the site_id below the form_id in the embed code:

โ€‹site_id: 'ZMbr1JWPM4OyBq6e', (replace with your site_id)

Additional Notes

Where you need to navigate to install this can look different depending on your website builder.

Here's how to install on Wordpress (popup or on-page embed).

While Wix is best suited for the pop-up embed option, you can paste both the Global Javascript code and the on-page (or button popup) embed code within the same Wix embed HTML code block.

For GoDaddy Website Builder, due to their limited customization capabilities, only the on-page embed will work at this time.

If you'd like to style the button, you can add your own CSS code or reach out to [email protected].

Having trouble? Send us an email at [email protected] with the name of your website builder and we can provide additional instructions.
