If the auction site includes a sign up or login option, bidders can pre-register for the auction at any time.
To register the bidder account and add a payment method through the portal, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Select the Sign Up or Login link. If it's your first time creating a CauseVox portal account, you will provide your name, email and a password.
Please Note:
Use the Sign Up link if you are signing up for a CauseVox member portal account for the first time, ie. you do not have an existing recurring gift, fundraiser or auction account on CauseVox yet.
Use the Login link if you already have a member portal on CauseVox. You can use your existing CauseVox email and password to login and register for the auction on the current site.
Step 2: In the site dashboard, select Register for Auction. This step created your bidder account and automatically assigns you an auction bid number.
You'll be automatically assigned a bid number, so you can participate in the in-person or online auction, track bidding history and update your payment method.
Step 3: You can scroll down to Add Payment Method to connect a payment method to your profile which will make a seamless auction fulfillment process.
