The end date is a feature that you can enable on your CauseVox campaign site to display the number-of-days-remaining counter on your campaign site.
To set up the End Date, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Under Campaigns, select the Settings of the campaign you wish to edit.
Step 2: Under Sites & Forms, select your site.
Step 3: Under Settings, select End Date from the left navigation and use the calendar to select an end date and time in UTC time. Save in the lower right.
Note: the End Date is set to UTC time zone. Learn more about time zones and how to set an accurate End Date.
Step 4 (Optional): Turn on Disable Donation Buttons on End Date if you want to automatically remove the donate button from the site upon End Date.
Step 5: To display the End Date on your site, select the Design tab at the top, then select the Hero module on each page it is listed. Scroll down to the Metrics section and turn on Show the end date. You can also edit the stat descriptive text here. Save all changes.
Additional Notes
You can change the end date counter at any time in your site settings.
Once you get close to that date, then the days counter will automatically turn into an hours and minutes counter.
Even after the end date reaches zero, donors will still be able to donate.
