The Activity Metric allows you and your participants to set activity goals and display the total progress for any virtual walkathon, race or fitness challenge.

The Activity Metric automatically calculates the total miles across the peer-to-peer pages to display the cumulative total miles (or other activity progress) on your main campaign site.

Here is an example:

To set up the activity metric, follow the steps below:

Step 1: As a CauseVox Admin, navigate to the Campaign section and select the Settings (gear icon).

Step 2: Under Sites & Forms, select your site.

Step 3: Select Activity Metric from the left navigation, enter a metric goal and description and Save.

Step 4: To display the Activity Metric on your site, select the Design tab at the top, then select the Hero module on each page it is listed. Scroll down to the Metrics section and turn on Show the activity metric. Save all changes.

Additional Notes:

  • The activity goal can be a whole number, or a number using decimals.

  • The description is customizable and has no character limit (i.e. miles run, miles biked, miles swam, # of push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, etc.).

  • The description that you create in your settings will be applied to each personal and team fundraising page. This cannot be edited by your peer-to-peer fundraisers.

  • The calculation of the total Peer-to-Peer Activity Metrics is automatically done on your CauseVox fundraising site.
