If you've received the error:

"Form could not be loaded. There was an issue loading the [donation, ticketing or registration] form. Please verify that your form is active and/or your payment processor settings are correct. Contact [email protected] if you need more assistance."

This error message could occur because:

  • The payment processor is not connected

  • The form is not enabled

  • The form is not connected to the site settings

  • A credit card was not added to the CauseVox Billing page

To resolve the donation form error message and accept transactions, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Make sure the payment processor is connected to the campaign. Under Campaign settings >> Payment processing, connect a Stripe or PayPal account.

Step 2: Ensure that the form is enabled. If the form is connected to a site or donation landing page, you also need to enable the form in the global site settings. Learn more about enabling sites & forms.

Step 3: Ensure the form is connected to your site modules. Under Campaign settings >> Site >> Design, select the Hero Module and link the form to the respective donation, ticketing or registration button in each page you are designing:

  • Home Page

  • Personal Page

  • Team Page

  • Organization Page

  • Fund Page

Step 4: Add your payment details to the Billing Page. Under Account Settings (gear icon), select Billing >> Payment Methods >> Add a new payment method.

Once your info is entered, you won't be billed immediately, you'll stay on your free trial. If you'd like to subscribe to a plan, you can do so on your Billing page.

You can upgrade your monthly or annual plan any time. If you wish to suspend or downgrade the account, please email us at [email protected].
