Venmo payment is available for one-time donations on any campaign that uses PayPal for donation processing, and it allows donors to pay via their Venmo app.

Note: Venmo payments are only available for US donors.

What Is Venmo?

Venmo is a mobile payment service that allows donors to send money through their phone app which is connected to their credit/debit card or bank account. There’s also no cash, check or wire transfer required.

Venmo is automatically included on the CauseVox donation form when using PayPal for donation processing.

Benefits Of Venmo

Venmo payments help you increase donations by giving your donors more flexibility at checkout in addition to:

  • Venmo has NO processing fees for sending money using a debit card, bank balance or Venmo balance (vs the standard 2.2% + $0.30/donation with Stripe or PayPal) and has a 3% fee for any credit card transactions.

  • Increased convenience for your donor by giving more payment options in addition to PayPal, ACH bank transfer, Apple/Google Pay, credit and debit card.

  • Easy bank transfers without wires or paperwork.

  • Increased security for you and your donor.

How Do Venmo Payments Work?

Donors can pay with Venmo at any time on any device for their one-time donations.
