Our fundraising platform offers the flexibility to run any type of fundraising initiative online.

You can create any custom site or form for fundraising initiatives such as giving days, annual campaigns, year-end fundraising appeals, website donations, DIY projects, walks/runs/races, challenges and more!

For each of these fundraising campaigns, you'll want to determine whether or not you'd like to incorporate peer-to-peer fundraising. Here's a quick look at the difference between peer-to-peer donations and all other online donations.

Peer-to-Peer Donations

Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Sites are customizable fundraising sites that allow you to activate your key supporters and help you raise up to 2x the funds for campaigns like, runs, walks, challenges, galas, and more!

With personal, team and organization fundraising, you're able to have your friends, family, partnering organizations and networks sign up for their own personal fundraising pages connected to your site. They set their own fundraising goal and can enter in their own text (you'll put in some default text for them though) and they can send their page out to their networks to donate to your cause.

If you're doing an event or competition where there are groups of people involved, then these fundraising pages can be joined to a team page, where funds will be be totaled for all the fundraising pages under the team or organization.

This causes an organic growth of your campaign, where new people are introduced to your cause by their family and friends. We've seen that campaigns that use personal and team fundraising effectively tend to raise twice as much as those without personal and team fundraising enabled.

Additionally, here's our Personal & Team Fundraising Page FAQ.

Peer-to-peer sites are easy for you to design according to your brand and include:

  • A media section

  • Fundraising metrics

  • Peer-to-peer leaderboard and personal, team and organization pages

  • Sections for written text (for your fundraising appeal)

  • Blog

  • Donor listing

  • A customized donation form

  • Easily downloadable donation data and fundraiser data

  • + more

Any campaign that has peer-to-peer fundraising enabled will have a CauseVox platform fee 0-4.5% depending on your plan and tipping settings. There is a sliding scale in the event you enable our 0% CauseVox Tip setting to remove the fee.

General Donations

All other online donations that do not have peer-to-peer fundraising enabled, which you could use for campaigns such as general crowdfunding, or website donation forms and pages, have a low 0-2% CauseVox platform fee. There is a sliding scale in the event you enable our 0% CauseVox Tip setting to remove the fee.
